Privacy Policy

MatStrength (the "App," the "Site," "we") is a strength and conditioning product for grappling athletes, operated by Mat Strength LLC, a Florida limited liability company. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what we do — and don't do — with it.

Information we collect

• Account data: email address and password (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider — we never see your password).
• Profile data you choose to provide: name, birth year, sex, height, weight, weight class, training background, competition dates, injury notes, equipment access, and training availability. All profile fields are optional and used only to personalize your training.
• Training data: programs you start, workouts and sets you log, strength maxes, readiness check-ins, cardio sessions, food logs, and technique bookmarks. This is the core function of the product.
• Waitlist data: if you join the beta waitlist on this site, we store your email address and which page you signed up from.
• Payment data: if you subscribe on this website, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and stores your card details. We never see or store your full card number. If you subscribe inside the mobile app, billing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play through our subscription manager (RevenueCat).
• Device and site data: basic diagnostics (app version, device model, crash reports) to keep things working.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
• We do not share your data with advertisers.
• We do not collect your precise location.
• We do not access your camera, photos, or microphone without an explicit in-app action from you.
• This website does not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Where your data lives

Data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication, hosted in the United States) protected by row-level security — your training data is readable only by your authenticated account. This website is served by Cloudflare. Card payments made on this site are processed by Stripe; payments made in the mobile app are processed by Apple or Google.

Coaches

If you accept a coach's invitation, that coach can read the training data described above for your account. This is consent-first: nothing is shared until you accept, and you can revoke a coach's access at any time from your profile.

Health-adjacent data

Training logs, body weight, food logs and readiness scores are fitness data you voluntarily record. They are not shared with third parties except the storage providers above. If a future version connects to Apple Health or Health Connect, that connection will be opt-in and its data use described here first.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data or complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing matforgestrength@gmail.com. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days. If you are in a jurisdiction with additional statutory rights (for example the EEA, UK, or California), we will honor those rights on request.

Children

MatStrength is intended for users 13 and older. Athletes under 18 should use it with a parent or guardian's consent and under coach supervision.

Changes

We'll update this page when the policy changes and note the date above. Material changes will be announced in the App.
